Launched a N1 billion fund to support female-owned businesses
Apostle Folorunso Alakija’s dedication to empowering African women through Flourish Africa and the remarkable N1 billion naira fund is making a transformative impact, driving positive change, and opening doors for aspiring female entrepreneurs across the continent.
Through the programme, a minimum of 500 female entrepreneurs would be educated each year, after which the top 100 achievers from the pool would be eligible for grants of up to N2 million each from a N200 million annual fund.
Business and Life Skills Training
The Business and Life skills training will take place over a period of 3 months. These courses will be of benefit to entrepreneurs who are in the idea stages of the start-up phases of their business. They will be exposed to training that will help them test and validate their business ideas, develop a viable business plan, the source for funding, and most importantly focus on the entrepreneur and how she can use her God-given abilities to succeed as a female entrepreneur.
