Failure is a massive part of being successful. Successful people fail a whole lot more than they succeed but they learn everytime. They take the risks where they’re almost certain they’re going to fail because that’s the best way to recognise all the lessons.
If you’re social media savvy, you would know by now that ever since joining Instagram last month, Actor, Will Smith has been applauded for all the gems he’s been freely giving away.
This particular video caught my attention as it reminded me that failure is an inevitable part of getting outside of your comfort zone. To learn new things, you might fail here and there but in doing so, you fail forward because practise makes perfect, Will Smith explains.
This is just to encourage you as you go on about the new year. Where you might fail, it is not the end of the world. Even the most successful people in the world have admitted to failing miserably in some instances but the ability to get back up and keep at it is what differentiates the average from the excellent.
So prep yourself to fail forward when you embrace new challenges and take those leaps. It comes with the territory but it also makes you better off because of it.
